Rustic Romance

We had the pleasure of creating the floral for the wedding of Mike and Dara that took place at Tuscali Mountain Inn.

The bride wanted her flowers to be rustic, romantic and textural.  We used succulents and other fun flowers and combinations to achieve her look.

The reception was in a beautiful tuscan inspired courtyard and had varying tables of beatiful linens by Town and Country in a natural burlap that set off the colors and style of the flowers perfectly.

Color of Love

With Valentine's Day approaching, I'm pulling a wedding from May 2011 at the University Club in Irvine where we designed with all red flowers.  Our bride wanted  spring flowers of tulips, sweet peas, and ranunculas and we brought in some romance with velvety red roses.
The bride carried a gardeny bouquet which was customized with the attaching of her grandmother's broach. The groom and groomsmen wore tulips and ranunculas with a more rustic raffia wrap.
The flower girls carried pomander balls of spray roses and sweet peas.
The gazebo was draped in white organza fabric and the top was designed with romantic loose vines of Ivy and Smilax, Curly Willow branches throughout, and floral in springy reds.
As we moved into reception we adorned the bride and groom chairs with a nosegay of floral, enhanced the head table with beautiful Smilax vine garland and loose floral and enhanced the cake with simple red touches as well.
Beautiful images are by Karen Leah photography who's team was an absolute pleasure to work with.
